Ukemochi, the Japanese Shinto goddess of transformation, was killed by a god she offended (OK, she vomited on him) but then she transformed into beautiful and amazing things. It is my hope that, like with poor Ukemochi, good things will come of this spewing forth of words.

My Car Is Disguised As A Salt Lick & Now...
Ohhhh...nooooo. It won't start. The check battery light is on.
I know! I'll take a crowbar to the snow that's packed into the tailpipe. There - that should do it.
Note to self: Avoid backing into/onto giant snow banks in the future.
i have a new sixer in my class from edina. she just moved here a month ago and she's quite wonderful. we were talking about how wimpy we are down here with the snow days. i told her about your car and she just nodded and said, "yeah, we were the only people on our block that shoveled snow in the early morning last week. it was weird."

I never shovel before work. That's just crazy talk! This morning it was -8. No windchill. Just -8.
