I'm still at work (going on 12 hours) and to wake myself up I took a little walk through the hallways and came across this sign attached to a long wooden ladder:
"Ladder free for the taken"
Apparently, if one is single (not taken) one must pay for the ladder.

Is it a nice ladder? I could use one. The problem, dammit, is that I can't say whether I'm taken or not. Ah, fuck all. I'll just go to Home Depot. They just want my credit card number.
Sadly, the ladder is now "taken."
HD wants you whether you're taken or not. Hell, they pretty much "take" you every which way before you hit the exit door!
